Grace & Marcus' Summer Ballroom Wedding

Grace and Marcus met while attending boarding school at the NC School of Science and Mathematics in high school, and have been inseparable ever since! The two went on to both attend NC State University in Raleigh, and from there the pair moved to Texas, where Grace attends medical school and Marcus is an engineer. With their love having such strong roots in the NC Triangle, the couple decided it would be the perfect place to celebrate their union with their loved ones!

Grace and Marcus chose the Paramount Event Venue, as their ballroom suited the couple's elegant vision for their big day! While they wanted an indoor venue to avoid the summer heat, it was also important that there be an outdoor green space for photos.

The weather was beautiful and sunny on the big day, a perfect backdrop for formal photos of the couple and their wedding party! To achieve their classic color palette of green and white, Grace's bridesmaids wore floor-length soft green dresses and held bouquets of white flowers, while Marcus' groomsmen wore emerald green tuxedoes, and Grace and Marcus both wore white.

The ceremony included unity sand, as well as a touching surprise musical performance by the bride's father, who had secretly learned to play piano!

The couple's five-tiered cake by Capital Cakes was truly a work of art, and a stunning focal point!
